Direct CC Billing Allow your client to pay your invoices with credit cards online

Did you know, that customers are more likely to commit to a purchase if the transaction can happen directly on your website? How would you like to lose a customer after he has already decided to buy your product, but gives up due to complicated checkout process?

It is only normal to expect that payment happens at the point of sale. For example, when you put down the groceries items at the cashier, you pay right there. It would make no sense to take a receipt, walk outside to another counter, arrange the payment, get the ticket stamped, and come back to claim the groceries.

Unfortunately, and quite surprisingly, that is how many websites process payments. Instead of displaying a simple form to collect credit card information, the user is sent to another website, jumping through numerous hoops just to arrange a payment.

The main reason for this, is that these websites do not have payment processing infrastructure. The "developers" of these websites are not equipped with the knowledge to build a proper site; vendors such as PayPal, makes their service seemingly easy to integrate. But such ease of use for programmers is at the expense of the end users, and you, the business owner.

Inga has the technical know-how to build a proper payment system. In addition, it also recognizes the need to educate the customers, so that they also understand what is involved in the process.

First of all, the heart of any credit card processing system is a Payment Gateway. A Payment Gateway is a service that's provided by a 3rd party that authorizes credit card payments. Typically your website gathers payment info, and the server then communicates with the payment gateway. Whether a card is successfully charge or not is relayed back to the web page. The end user is not aware of which gateway is used. This structure is good for the integrity and portability of your overall system.

Inga's invoicing system takes one step further. Instead of manually creating invoices, the Gyroscope backend tracks billable items and generate invoices automatically. This invoices can be paid directly online. In fact, Inga itself uses such system to bill our customers. You may see an example here. Once the online invoice is paid, the payment arrives directly on your depositing bank account. Your backend database instantly recognizes that all the related services are paid for.
