Email Analytics Fully integrate incoming emails with your core database

What are your most recent email interactions with a client? It's easy to answer this question if you are the only person in the company who answers emails, and that the client is also an individual who always emails from the same address.

In reality, business email exchange often occurs between groups instead of individuals. What started as an inquiry to a generic address soon evolves into a conversation between specific personnel. The handler of the matter can change mid-way through the case; this can happen on either side of the correspondence. Very soon, it becomes nearly impossible to have a full, clear picture of the communication.

By design, email facilitates person-to-person communication. In a business context, a person often represents a group. The person-group difference is the root cause why tracing email is a challenging task.

Admin Backend Integration

Introducing Email Analytics, a Gyroscope module that intercepts your inbound emails and displays their routes in the admin backend.

The email analyzer intelligently associates the incoming message with a customer in your database who has the same address as the email. If the subject line contains a Case ID, the email will be associated with a specific case in addition to the customer.

Flexible Archiving Options

By default, the Email Analytics engine stores the date, subject line and the addresses of the sender and recipient. The module can be configured to store and index the entire message, or selectively accepting attachments of specific formats.

Easy Deployment

If your inbound mail server runs on Inga's infrastructure, Email Analytics runs in parallel with your standard mail server. Incoming emails arrive at your regular inbox and indexed in the database at nearly the same time.

If your mail server is hosted elsewhere, simply set up ghost forwarding on all the accounts you'd like to monitor to an Inga mail server. For example, upon receiving an email to user1@yourdomain.com and user2@yourdomain.com, a copy of the email is sent to filter@inga.yourdomain.com.
